Hello, Thank you for your inquiry regarding our Classic Series Heritage Blender. Compatibility between blender bases and jars can vary by model, even within the same brand. Because of this, we cannot guarantee that an 8‑cup jar from another Oster blender will work with this base. We recommend reaching out to us directly with the model details so we can help confirm compatibility. You can reach us via the "Contact Us" form on our official website. We’re available Mon.-Fri. 9am -5pm Eastern Time. Thank you! Oster Consumer Care.

You have this (or a similar) blender for sale on the Australian Amazon site. https://tinyurl.com/yc7dvdtv (Amazon link was above the character limit) Will this work with Australian 220-220V power as it is for sale on Australian Amazon?

Hello, thank you for your inquiry. This specific model is designed for use with North American electrical standards (typically 120V, 60Hz). Australia operates on a 220–240V, 50Hz electrical system. As a result, this blender is not directly compatible with Australian power outlets. Even if the product is listed on Amazon Australia, it may still be an imported unit intended for a different voltage. Using it without the proper voltage conversion could damage the appliance or pose a safety risk. To use this blender safely in Australia, you would need a step-down voltage transformer (220–240V to 110–120V) with sufficient wattage capacity (at least 1000W for this model). However, for best performance and safety, we generally recommend purchasing a model specifically designed for 220–240V regions. Unfortunately, this exact model is not available on Amazon EU. If you have any more questions, please contact us using our Contact Us form on the website https://www.oster.com/support/contact-us or through LiveChat so we can help you further. We’re available Mon.-Fri. 9 am – 8 pm Eastern Time. Thank you! Oster Consumer Care

Hello, thank you for your feedback. We truly appreciate hearing from our customers. The current lid on the Oster® Classic Series Heritage Blender is designed for durability and to provide a secure fit with the glass jar, but we understand the concerns regarding material preferences. We are always exploring ways to improve our products, including options for more flexible, inert materials like rubber or silicone. Your suggestion is valuable, and we’ll share it with our product development team for consideration in future updates. We appreciate your insight. If you have any more questions, please contact us using our Contact Us form on the website or through LiveChat so we can help you further.
